Santa Cruz Island
Puerto Ayora is the economic center of the Galápagos Islands, offering a variety of restaurants, souvenir shops, bars, internet cafés, and other stores. After a Galápagos Islands cruise, it’s the perfect place to relax with a stroll through town. The bay is also a great spot to observe marine life such as brown pelicans, golden rays, marine iguanas, herons, lava gulls, frigate birds, Galápagos sea lions, and large numbers of blue-footed boobies.
