Puerto Baquerizo Moreno

Puerto Baquerizo Moreno is the relaxed capital of the Gal�pagos Islands, overlooking a calm harbor. Visitors can explore the Natural History Museum, which contains exhibits of Gal�pagos birds, iguanas, sea lions, dolphin skeletons, whale bones, tortoise shells, and more. The town�s cathedral features unique murals painted with Gal�pagos wildlife themes. The museum is also home to a live tortoise named Pepe, who resides in a special enclosure behind the building.
