Puerto Baquerizo Moreno is the relaxed capital of the Galápagos Islands, overlooking a calm harbor. Visitors can explore the Natural History Museum, which contains exhibits of Galápagos birds, iguanas, sea lions, dolphin skeletons, whale bones, tortoise shells, and more. The town’s cathedral features unique murals painted with Galápagos wildlife themes. The museum is also home to a live tortoise named Pepe, who resides in a special enclosure behind the building.
