On a small hill there is a wooden platform that offers amazing views of the tortoise rearing center La Galapaguera as well as the south and eastern coasts of the Island. It is home to unique plant life found only on San Cristobal: Calandrinia Galapagosa and Lecocarpus Darwinii. It is also possible to find San Cristobal mockingbirds and canaries here.
