Calipso

Calipso Description

If you're into diving, you probably want to know the best Galapagos cruise for scuba diving. After all, you do not want to take a chance at a bucket list destination. Luckily, you know you've found a good option at a bucket list destination with the Calipso Galapagos Yacht. Unusually for the archipelago, the Calipso is an excellent choice whether you want a diving liveaboard or a naturalist cruise: she's authorized for both. Recently refurbished from her engines to her social areas and cabins, the ship offers a comfortable lounge and dining area with a modern, nautically-themed design in light woodwork with blue accents. Another unique feature of the diving cruise ship is Wi-Fi, which is included in the package, making it easier to tell all your friends and family at home about the amazing wildlife you've seen.

Guests on naturalist cruises will use the recently inaugurated dive deck on their snorkeling outings. At the same time, SCUBA fans will make the most of the new facilities, including Nitrox, a camera table, rinse tanks, hot showers, and a bathroom. Naturalist itineraries stop at top visitor sites, making getting up-close views of the unique Galapagos island's bird species easy. In contrast, divers on all itineraries will enjoy stopping at the Darwin and Wolf marine visitor sites, with their significant populations of sharks and other unusual species. And everyone will be happy when they return to the sundeck for a dip in the jacuzzi or some delicious al fresco dining.

Calipso Cabins

After a long day of adventure, guests will make the most of 10 newly refurbished cabins (6 doubles on the upper deck, two doubles on the main deck, and two singles on the lower deck), each with windows to enjoy the stunning Galapagos views, hot showers, and individually-controlled air conditioning.
